FB Marketing 101 - is it that easy?

Facebook Marketing by Greg Brooks

According to Blinkist, Facebook Marketing (2014) is a comprehensive guide of the topic, covering both the basics like creating simple ads, and advanced power-user techniques like building custom audiences.

There are 1.2 billion users of Facebook. This is a markets that can be reached with the touch of a simple click. Even if you will not click on it you need to think about your customer who would do the click.

Greg Brooks explains that a good picture makes a big difference. It will grab your attention. Here is another picture of his book that makes it more eye-catching. I am not an expert of Photoshop but Greg suggests to make use of Pixlr.com for easier editing. The below picture makes it appear to be more secretive than the first one hence making it more enticing

Determining your ROI on an online Facebook campaign is very important and Brooks is here to prove that is very possible. I never thought a 1000% ROI was possible. He suggests that making use of Power editor is more complete as it customizes your approach to your campaign. Instead of using the default campaign button. Brooks focus on the (Unique Sales Proposition (USP). How can you create value to your customer? This is the key to a great online campaign.

What was very interesting was you Brooks suggested in creating a fake account to test your ideal customer. Very creative but this would help you test the best say background to your campaign while making use of the algorithm program of Facebook. There is actual logic to the "fake" customer!

I do hope to learn a trick or two from Brooks on how to create that "new" tag to entice potential customers into loyal ones.

Now I must start to search for the perfect image to make use of! Hope to make a successful FB campaign. I need to compel my customer to not only click on my ad but for them to experience emotion. Google is definitely your friend here!
